Buhm Hong was born in Seoul, Korea in 1970. He received a MFA for photography, video and related media at SVA. He had exhibitions to show installation work in places including San diego art institute, Westport Art Center in Westport,  Doosan Gallery in New York. and Kum ho art museum in Seoul. He also participated in Jeju biennale and APMAP in Korea.  His solo exhibitions was opened in art space ZIP of paradise foundation in Seoul, Suwon art museum in Suwon, Korea and Soso Gallery, Paju, Korea in recent days, his works have been exhibited in Arco museum, Seoul and National museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Chung Ju.

홍범은 1970년에 서울에서 출생했다. 그는 뉴욕에 있는 School of Visual Art에서 computer art와 photography, video and media art에서 MFA(석사과정)을 마쳤다. 그 이후 샌디에고 아트 인스튜디드, 웨스트 포트 아트 센터와 두산 뉴욕 갤러리, 금호 미술관에서 설치작업을 진행했다. 그는 또한 제주 비엔날레와 아모레에서 진행하는 APMAP에 참가했다. 개인전으로는 파라다이스 파운데이션의 아트 스페이스 ZIP, 수원 시림 미술관 옥외 프로젝트, 근래에는 헤이리에 있는 갤러리 소소에서 열렸다. 아르코 미술관과 청주 국립현대 미술관등 다수에서 작업이 전시되었다.
